Finalist for Best Service Provider category in APAC region
Prestigious awards recognise service, application, technology and professional excellence and innovation
Singapore, 26 October 2015 – Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte Ltd (Telin Singapore), a subsidiary of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, was recently announced as a finalist for MEF 2015 Excellence Awards in the service provider category.
The MEF’s annual awards, which recognise service, application, technology, and professional excellence and innovation, are the largest and longest-running in the world focused on Carrier Ethernet services and applications and emerging Third Network community.
“To be shortlisted as a finalist against some very strong contenders in the service provider category in a huge honour for us. In serving our enterprise clients to meet their needs, we are working towards the opening of our third data centre in Singapore in the third quarter of 2016. This gives us an impetus for our customer-centric services to continue to innovative and provide best-in-class products and service in a cost-efficient way,” said Septika N Widyasrini, CEO of Telin Singapore.
Telin Singapore was shortlisted among 19 service providers and 16 technology vendors, announced by MEF on 23 October in Los Angeles. The Awards will be presented on 17 November at the MEF Excellence Awards Dinner as part of the GEN15 (www.gen15.com) global networking event held during 16-19 November in Dallas, Texas.
Ms Widyasrini added: “Recognised by the industry for two straight years in a row puts a big feather in our cap, as we embark on to the next phase of growth in becoming a key player in the region. Last year, our colleague Mr Sendang Praptomo won the MEF-CECP award.”
Mr Praptomo, who heads the business development & planning at Telin Singapore was the winner of MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (MEF-CECP) of the Year award for 2014. The award is given to those who has shown leadership in the expansion of Carrier Ethernet around the world or has provided the most outstanding technical contribution to the Carrier Ethernet Technical Community.
The judging panel for the awards comprised of global and regional senior analysts from Current Analysis, Frost & Sullivan, IDC, IHS Infonetics, Metanoia, Ovum, SDxCentral, Vertical Systems, and independent judges especially for the professional awards.
